Alden Knisbacher
Alden Knisbacher has been practicing law in the Bay Area for 13 years. Most of his practice is devoted to representing employees in all aspects of workplace disputes, including wrongful termination, discrimination, family/medical leave, Americans with Disabilities Act, overtime and other wage/hour cases.
Mr. Knisbacher has handled individual and multi-plaintiff cases against many of the major Bay Area employers, and has appeared in state, and federal courts. Mr. Knisbacher also counsels employers on personnel matters, employee handbooks, and litigation matters. Mr. Knisbacher has also represented clients in personal injury, workers’ compensation, criminal defense and civil rights matters. He has tried cases in state and federal courts.
Mr. Knisbacher is a graduate of Georgetown Law School. He is admitted to practice in the Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California federal courts, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the California First District Court of Appeal. He is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association and has graduated from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s Trial Skills Program.
Mr. Knisbacher has recovered millions of dollars from government agencies and private employers for his clients.
Greg Groeneveld *
Greg Groeneveld has been practicing law in the Bay Area for 15 years. He has practiced in a variety of areas in state and federal courts, with a focus on trials and arbitrations. He has extensive experience in personal injury matters and in employment matters. Mr. Groeneveld has been lead trial counsel in more than 35 jury trials and has represented his clients in more than 100 arbitrations. He is a former Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney.
Mr. Groeneveld graduated from the Columbia University School of Law and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He has volunteered as a small claims commissioner, traffic commissioner and settlement commissioner and has been active in Inns of Court.
*Mr. Groeneveld maintains a separate law practice. He associates with Mr. Knisbacher on certain cases. When Mr. Groeneveld is associated on a case, the lawyer-client fee agreement will disclose that fact.
